We’re currently seeing tens of thousands of builds per week on CircleCI 2.0, and the feedback from early customers has been great:
“I was able to read the docs and upgraded one of our projects to CircleCI 2.0. The results are incredibly promising, to say the least. Build times went from 4 minutes to 1.5 minutes. With a tweak to run our tests in parallel mode, I was even able to drop the build time to 45 seconds.” - Mobify
“Just tried CircleCI 2.0 beta - blown away by how much faster it is!” - @burkhardr
“Today’s experience with 2.0 - my setup was so fast that I had to explicitly wait for ElasticSearch to start properly before running tests.” - @blamefrost
All orgs and projects who have requested access are now whitelisted, ensuring they can build on 2.0. You can read about the features in 2.0 here: https://circleci.com/beta-access/
CircleCI 2.0 is still in beta, and we will continue to add additional features in the coming weeks, including the ability to SSH into builds and inference.
Update: As of July 11, 2017, CircleCI 2.0 is out of beta and publicly available. To start building with 2.0 click https://circleci.com/docs/2.0/.
We’ve added Docs for CircleCI 2.0, and have re-located them from our Discuss forums. Documentation for 2.0 includes references for our new configuration and demo apps to get you started.
