We are happy to announce the release of the new OS X build image. In this release we include the most recent version of OS X with all the latest security updates, the recently released Xcode 7.3, plus the updated versions of git, fastlane and carthage.
Using the new Xcode 7.3 gives you access to the latest Swift language features, plus the most recent updates to the CloudKit and HealthKit frameworks.
We are taking the security of the OS X containers seriously. Earlier last week we have released an update that mitigates the issue in the git package, and all our infrastructure is now running git 2.7.4, the latest available release of git. The security updates to OS X that were released earlier this week are also installed in all OS X containers.
We are dedicated to making sure that you use your preferred cocoapods version during the build, and so we are glad to announce better support of custom cocoapods versions—right now once you check in a Gemfile into your repo and indicate your preferred cocoapods version there, we will automatically install the version of cocoapods you selected and cache it for future builds.
The automated code signing support now makes it very easy to deploy your app to a number of OTA deployment services, including Beta by Crashlytics, HockeyApp and TestFairy, in addition to deploying to iTunes Connect. Please check out this doc for a sample deployment configuration for your project.
