Last month, we hosted special guest speakers from Shyp during our monthly Office Hours, who talked about the inner workings of their home-grown command line interfact. If you couldn’t make the event in person, or just want to revisit the great presentation, you’ll find a video of the talk in its entirety below.
About the talk:
Shyp likes to be efficient. They built a command line gateway in Go to quickly build and share automations for common tasks across their team. This includes validating dev environments, creating pull requests, flashing environments with predefined states, interacting with Pivotal Tracker and more!
Watch as some of the engineers at Shyp pull back the curtain and share details and use-cases of their own CLI. Also, check out this in-depth blog post from the team at Shyp on how they automate mobile and web projects using CircleCI.
You can watch the full video on Shyp’s command line interface here.
If you’re headed to Amsterdam for GitHub Satellite, we are sponsoring a fresh squeezed juice cart so stop by and visit!
CircleCI will be in town for GitHub Satellite and we want to meet the developers and software teams who use CircleCI, and hear about all the great things you’re building.
We have a few tables reserved at Mossel en Gin in the Westergasfabriek where GitHub Satellite is taking place. There is no formal agenda, and the first round and light fare is on us so please come say hello, we’re excited to meet you!
