New from CircleCI in May
Notice: Bitbucket will be performing scheduled maintenance during weekends in May, June, and July 2021 from 21:00 Friday - 23:00 Sunday UTC. During this time period, CircleCI users will be unable to view project settings for Bitbucket projects, view organization settings for Bitbucket organizations, or run pipelines for Bitbucket workflows.
Announcing our Series F funding and acquisition of Vamp
We are pleased to share that CircleCI has raised $100M in Series F funding! This will enable us to further invest in our product, our community, and our team. We also recently announced that CircleCI acquired Vamp, the first release orchestration platform, designed to make delivery risk-free. The acquisition paves the way for us to provide first-class release orchestration and continuous validation to our customers, natively within our platform.
Windows images updated to resolve NuGet issue
This update resolves a download issue caused by an incompatibility between Chocolatey and NuGet. Our Windows images now include a user-wide NuGet config file with nuget.org configured as a package source to prevent future errors.
New platforms fully supported for CircleCI runner
Self-hosted runners enable you to run select parts of a pipeline on your own infrastructure. Currently available exclusively to Scale plan customers, runner users now have full support across:
- macOS (M1 and Intel)
- Ubuntu 18.04 or later (x86_64 or ARM64)
We’re adding new platforms in the coming weeks, including RHEL, CentOS, Windows, and Kubernetes. Customers interested in a preview of runner and Scale plan should contact their account team for more information.
Introducing Insights Smart Link
It’s now easier than ever to access performance metrics in the Insights dashboard. Navigate to https://app.circleci.com/insights in your browser, and you’ll be automatically directed to your Insights page. Share the link with colleagues so they can track metrics like success rate, credit consumption, project-level performance, and more.
Arm compute generally available
Arm compute is now available to all Cloud customers on CircleCI. Add Arm workloads to your existing pipelines without managing your own infrastructure.
Learn more about dynamic config on CircleCI Academy
Want to learn more about our new dynamic config feature? In our latest, free CircleCI Academy course, one of our expert DevOps Customer Engineers will show you how to use setup workflows to generate config, define pipeline parameters, and run a targeted subset of your config file.
Check out our runner training
CircleCI customers in highly regulated industries, like finance and healthcare, must meet compliance requirements that prevent them from running certain workloads in the cloud. Self-hosted runners are for these edge cases. Check out our introductory course on runner to learn about key features, sample config, and more.
