Today we’re proud to announce the opening of our Boston office, our second US presence outside of our headquarters in San Francisco. While we’ve been a distributed company since the very beginning and had many team members all across the world, putting down roots on the East Coast marks an important moment in our growth, and we couldn’t be happier to be joining Boston’s thriving technology community.

A flourishing technology hub

Our Director of Sales, Chris Calkin, shares why Boston is the perfect place for CircleCI to grow: “Opening this Boston office will allow us to have a local presence in a market that has already made a huge investment into the DevOps ecosystem. We’re excited to be a part of that new wave. The new presence puts us close to our customers like BCG, MassMutual, and MIT and a train ride away from the other Northeast markets.”

Here’s what some customers in the Boston area have to say about CircleCI:

CircleCI has become an integral part of our software development life cycle. We’ve found CircleCI simple to integrate into any of our projects across our Go, Ruby, Python, and JavaScript-based repositories. Continuous deployment using Docker and AWS ECS has made new service development at EverQuote easier than ever. Most recently, the configurability of CircleCI 2.0 has been instrumental in improving the performance of our jobs. Ryan Grimard, SVP Product Engineering at EverQuote
We rely on CircleCI every day because it's dependable, easy to work with, and integrates with GitHub Enterprise flawlessly. I only have positive things to say about CircleCI. Tom Donovan, Lincoln Laboratory at MIT

The office is in North Boston by TD Garden, where we expect to expand over the coming year to accommodate our growing East Coast customer base.

See you in Boston!
