How we’ll support you

Write about only the topics you care about, by choosing from our ideas board, or suggesting your own topic. We will get you set up for success with careful editing and feedback from our team about what does well with our audience. Finally, we’ll work hard to promote you to our audience of developers.

  • Constructive community

Meet other writers in our private Slack channel, where you can workshop your ideas, and get tailored feedback and professional editing of your writing.

  • Professional growth

When you write for us, we will promote you and your content through our channels, and you will be making the community stronger by teaching what you know!

Our mission

At CircleCI, we want to empower all developers everywhere to do their best work. We provide not just the tools to support them, but also the knowledge they need to succeed and grow through educational, actionable, and opinionated content.

To write successful content for CircleCI’s blog, you’ll need to be a person who likes to dig deep, predict reader questions and provide the answers, and be good at explaining not just how to do something, but why you recommend doing it that way.

Frequently asked questions

We are always interested in sharing and promoting content that supports our mission of advancing the understanding of engineering productivity. If you have a piece you think would be a good fit for our audience of developers and technical leaders, please email guestwriters@circleci.com to talk about syndication. At this time we are only paying for original content not published elsewhere.

We’d love to chat about new partnerships and co-marketing opportunities. Reach out to guestwriters@circleci.com. Our Guest Writer Program and associated payments are reserved for works coming from individual contributors, not from partners.
