We want to make shipping code quick, safe and painless. The CircleCI
research team is looking for people to talk about their build process,
test features before they’re released and participate in usability
Here are the details:
Anyone can sign up, even if you don’t currently use CircleCI.
How and when you participate is up to you.
You can opt out anytime, no long-term commitment necessary.

for a few additional details about you and your team work. When
research projects arise that might be a good fit for your background,
we will send you a study email and ask you to participate.
What’s the time commitment?
Most studies take between 30 and 60 minutes. There are some
experiences which might take 10 minutes each in sessions over the
course of a few weeks.
What type of people are you looking for?
We are interested in talking to individuals who work on software
engineering teams. We are focused on people who are developing
software professionally (for example, on a project with a team),
rather than personally (for example, working alone on a side project).
We would like to hear from people in a range of roles, from individual
contributor to team leads and CTOs, in every industry. If your work is
directly related to the software development lifecycle, we want to
talk to you.
Is my information confidential?
Yes, the information you provide is private. It will only be used to
reach out to you for research that you are qualified for.
How old do I need to be?
You must be 18 years or older.
What will I do in the study?
You can participate in several ways. Here are some common study
Remote usability study:
We’ll set up a time to chat with you via video conferencing in
which we’ll share screens and discuss the usefulness of potential
Field study: We come to you! A CircleCI researcher (or
2) might visit your office or work space to get a sense of your
physical environment, team dynamics, and other things you can only
understand by being there.
You’ll receive an email asking you to answer some questions
related to the CircleCI product or your experiences.
Do you incentivize participation?
Once the study is complete you will get a small thank-you gift like a
gift card or a donation to your favorite charity.
